Hey there, I'm Steve Alejos, and I'm all about art and design. My creative journey started in Flushing, Queens, New York, thanks to my parents' quest for the American dream, which truly motivated me. I kicked things off as a young enthusiast, diving into comic book art and digital design. Over time, I honed my skills through a mix of self-teaching and formal education, eventually building a rewarding career in graphic design, branding, and marketing. Besides my professional life, you'll find me enjoying diverse hobbies like cooking, hiking, and exploring the world of art – all fueling my passion to make a meaningful impact in the industry as an Art Director.

Greetings! I'm Steve Alejos, a creative professional with a deep-rooted passion for art and design. My journey began in the vibrant neighborhood of Flushing, Queens, New York, where my parents, hailing from Peru, embarked on a pursuit of the American dream and successfully achieved it.
When I was a kid, I found myself captivated by the world of comic book artwork and Marvel trading cards, often attempting to recreate the magic. This early infatuation with art fueled my enthusiasm, which only grew as the years passed. Even in elementary school, I was among the first to explore art on the computer, using programs like Paint to help teachers with flyers – honing my skills, one design at a time.
At the age of 14, I relocated to South Florida, where my love for art continued to flourish. Self-taught in software like Photoshop and Adobe Dreamweaver, my skills blossomed, and by the time I entered high school, I had the honor of initiating the school's graphic design program. Among my many achievements, I was nominated for the best cover artwork in the Technology Student Association.
Following my high school journey, I embarked on the next chapter at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. My desire to attain a college education and degree led me to this institution, where I met a community of like-minded individuals all striving to achieve their artistic aspirations. The collaboration and idea-sharing with my peers truly enriched my understanding of art and design. My skills were sharpened, and I even earned the accolade of "Best Portfolio" nominee, while also receiving a bronze cord for my academic excellence.
Upon graduation, my professional career kicked off with an exciting role at a perfume marketing and branding agency, where I had the privilege of working with renowned names such as Adam Levin, Selena Gomez, and Katy Perry. This experience affirmed my love for the industry, and I knew I had found my calling. My journey continued as I joined one of the world's top supplement companies as a lead graphic designer and project manager.
After several successful years in the industry, I decided to take my expertise to the next level by starting my own business. I wanted to expand my horizons, incorporating web design, content creation, and team management. I've since led a team of talented videographers, graphic designers, and web designers while working with businesses of all sizes. Now, I'm eager to leverage my extensive experience, working alongside like-minded individuals on larger-scale projects as an Art Director. My mission is to manage, direct, and devise innovative strategies to boost businesses through my robust branding and marketing efforts.
Beyond my professional life, my interests include cooking, hiking, traveling, curating an extensive sneaker collection, exploring the world of cinema, and fostering a deep appreciation for the arts. These diverse passions shape my creative spirit and fuel my desire to continue making a meaningful impact in the world of art and design.
